Welcome to Service Buddy. This section walks you through everything you need to get your flooring store running on the platform — from your very first login to sending your first invoice. It works whether you sell carpet, hardwood, LVP, laminate, tile, vinyl, area rugs, or a mix.

How long does it take to set up Service Buddy?

Most stores are running their first quote and invoice within an hour. Account setup, branding, and tax rates take 10–15 minutes; inviting a small team takes another 5–10; the first job walkthrough is about 15. Bigger retailers with hundreds of clients to import or complex commission plans take longer to fully roll out.

Is Service Buddy a good fit for a single-store flooring retailer?

Yes — single-store is the most common setup. Multi-location features are there if you open a second showroom, but everything works the same for one store with no extra setup.

Does Service Buddy work for hardwood, LVP, tile, and laminate retailers — not just carpet?

Yes. Service Buddy is built for every kind of flooring store. Your Inventory handles soft goods (carpet by the square yard, padding, runners) and hard goods (hardwood, LVP, laminate, tile by the carton, box, or square foot).
