Service Buddy connects to the most popular tools service businesses use every day. Here is the full list, grouped by what they do.

Two-way sync that keeps your books in step with your operations.

  • Push clients, invoices, items, and payments from Service Buddy into QuickBooks.
  • Pull updates from QuickBooks back into Service Buddy.
  • Filter invoice and client lists by “Pushed to QuickBooks” or “Not pushed” so nothing slips.

Great for businesses that want accurate accounting without double entry.

Service Buddy’s built-in payment service. US merchants run on Rainforest Pay, international merchants run on Stripe — both fully integrated. Accepts:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • ACH bank transfers (US, Rainforest)
  • Stored payment methods for repeat clients

Clients pay through invoices and quotes, payments reconcile automatically, refunds work from inside the app. Settled funds reach your bank on the processor’s standard schedule.

See Connect online payments to set this up.

Push jobs, installations, and tasks into your team’s Google Calendar so everyone has one source of truth.

Same scheduling sync for Microsoft users.

See Connect your calendar to set this up.

Full two-way SMS and MMS with clients from inside Service Buddy:

  • Send and receive texts from the client or job screen.
  • Send photos, documents, and job updates by MMS.
  • Every message is logged to the client’s communication history.
  • Automated texts for payment reminders, booking confirmations, and review requests.

Capture leads from your Google ad campaigns directly into Service Buddy with source tracking through UTM parameters.

Same for Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. See which ads are generating leads and which are not.

Capture leads from your business website’s contact forms and quote request forms straight into the Service Buddy leads pipeline.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Find the integration you want.
  3. Click Connect and sign in to the service when prompted.
  4. Grant permissions. You will be brought back to Service Buddy once you approve.

The specific steps are slightly different for each integration — see the matching article for detailed instructions.

  • Connected integrations show a green Connected badge on the Integrations page.
  • If an integration has a problem (expired login, wrong permission), you will see a warning badge and a Reconnect button.
  • Admins on your account can disconnect an integration at any time from the same page.
  • Only connect integrations you will actually use. Every connection is an extra thing to keep updated and secure.
  • Review your connected integrations every six months. Disconnect any that your team has stopped using.
  • If you do not see an integration you need, let us know — we regularly add new connections based on client requests.
Which integrations do most flooring retailers connect first?

In order: email (so invoices send from your real address), QuickBooks Online (clean books), BuddyPay (online card and ACH payments), Google Calendar (visible schedules on installer phones). Marketing integrations (Google Ads, Meta) come later, once you have lead-source tracking dialed in.

Can I connect more than one integration of the same type?

For most categories, no — one calendar, one email, one accounting integration at a time. Payments are similar: BuddyPay is the integrated option, regardless of whether your account is set to Rainforest (US) or Stripe (international).

Do integrations cost extra?

The integrations themselves are part of Service Buddy. The third-party services they connect to (QuickBooks, Stripe, Twilio for SMS, etc.) bill separately according to their own pricing. Make sure your accounts on those services are active before connecting.

What happens to data if I disconnect an integration?

Past data stays in Service Buddy — disconnecting only stops new sync going forward. For example, invoices already pushed to QuickBooks remain there even if you disconnect QuickBooks. Future invoices won’t push until you reconnect.

How do I know an integration is working?

A green Connected badge on Settings → Integrations. If something breaks (expired credentials, revoked permissions), you’ll see a warning badge and a Reconnect button. Most issues resolve in one click.

Can I integrate with software that’s not in the list?

Service Buddy’s integrations cover the most-used tools. For specialized software (proprietary ERP, niche accounting platforms), most retailers export from Service Buddy as CSV and import on the other side. Check with support if you need a specific integration — new ones are added based on demand.

Who can connect or disconnect integrations?

Admins. Other access levels can use connected integrations (send email, create invoices that push to QuickBooks) but can’t change connections.
